My mother (who worked as a civilian secretary under General Davidson) insists he was born on April 4, 1904 (not April 24 as stated here). She tells me she had to type his birth date (4-4-04) many times on documents. Now, clearly, my mom's personal knowledge (or my second-hand knowledge of her personal knowledge) is not a reliable source for Wikipedia purposes (!!), but it would be good if we could find a truly reliable source substantiating the correct date. The book "Lewis of Warner Hall" as well as other references list his birthdate as April 24, 1904. He was Jack Holt's nephew and according to my father, Tim Holt, he and his brother Marshall spent some summers with them in California after his parents died. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jack Holt (talk • contribs) 18:26, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
