Taxonomy: For all marine species, Project Gastropods uses the taxonomy in the online database WoRMS. When starting a new article, do not use sources of taxonomic information that predate the 2017 revision for all gastropod groups ("Revised Classification, Nomenclator and Typification of Gastropod and Monoplacophoran Families" by Philippe Bouchet & Jean-Pierre Rocroi, Bernhard Hausdorf, Andrzej Kaim, Yasunori Kano, Alexander Nützel, Pavel Parkhaev, Michael Schrödl and Ellen E. Strong in Malacologia, 2017, 61(1–2): 1–526.) (can be dowloaded at Researchgate.net), substituting the previous classification of 2005 Taxonomy of the Gastropoda (Bouchet & Rocroi, 2005). The problem with this species is that, according to http://seaslugforum.net/ it is in genus Geitodoris, while according to http://www.marinespecies.org/ it belongs in Discodoris. Since Geitodoris has been moved out of the Discodorididae in accordance with WoRMS, perhaps heathi should be moved to Discodoris also in accordance with WoRMS? I am inclined to go with WoRMS because the basis for their record is http://www.itis.gov, which in turn bases its record on: Turgeon, D. D., A. E. Bogan, E. V. Coan, W. K. Emerson, W. G. Lyons, W. Pratt, et al. (1988) Common and scientific names of aquatic invertebrates from the United States and Canada: mollusks American Fisheries Society Special Publication 16 ISBN 0-913235-47-4, 0097-0638.

I await Project Gastropod's verdict!
