picture[edit]

it needs a picture. - —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.17.197.169 (talkcontribs) 02:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

done... I almost forgot I had taken these... - Adolphus79 04:15, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

-I think that the concept has changed, I may be wrong, but I remember looking up on an image search the hy-wire and it looked nothing like that

That picture is the GM AUTOnomy concept, a predecessor to the Hy-wire. The Hy-wire resembles a more conventional sedan.Brecchie (talk) 20:15, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HowStuffWorks has a gallery of Hy-wire pictures. They are copyrighted, but fair-use is better than nothing. -Ian01 (talk) 03:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

power[edit]

  • powered by a fuel cell capable of producing 94 kilowatts ...
  • With its 250 to 380 watt three-phase electric motor ...
  • What do they do with all the other kilowatts? -- Crato (talk) 12:36, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the proposal was support for move. As for hyphenation, a Google search to see which one is more common shows the original, hyphenated name appears to be far more common (hy-wire vs. hywire).--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 23:28, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move[edit]

Page was renamed in http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=General_Motors_Autonomy&direction=next&oldid=260090797, without any discussion that I can see, apart from a suggestion that an image was incorrect. The Autonomy and Hywire were both concept cars, that could have their shell replaced and so have different looks, so it is hard to judge from photos. The vast majority of references on the web refer to the vehicle as the GM Hywire. Furthermore, if the page is going to be renamed, the rest of the article should be updated to reflect that change... it still refers exclusively to the Hywire and makes no mention of the Autonomy. --Feyrauth (talk) 16:53, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree I just clicked on this article from the Volt article and was totally confused as to why the article text doesn't match the title in any shape, way or form. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.12.246.125 (talk) 20:42, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rename back to HyWire the Hywire was better known Greglocock (talk) 00:13, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Question. It was originally General Motors Hy-wire.[1] Should it be Hy-wire or Hywire? 199.125.109.52 (talk) 02:27, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
