The article contains: "sent by Dou Xian on an expedition during the Battle of Ikh Bayan to defeat the unnamed Northern Chanyu in 91." This sounds odd, in that an expedition is normally longer than a battle; a battle might take place during an expedition, but not an expedition during a battle. What exactly is meant here? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 19:00, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I guess you're right about that. It is a battle/conflict shortly after an expedition Eiorgiomugini 19:34, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've edited the text to reflect what you say here, but it's still a bit obscure. Did the expedition lead to or end in the battle? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:40, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I thought I had edited to "battle"? No, the expedition was launched in 89, but the conflict which Geng Kui associating with happened in 91. So the expedition lead to the battle. Well, you do the math. Eiorgiomugini 23:14, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, have I got it right now? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 08:25, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
