Nettle's retirement date[edit]

I have supposed a retirement date through simply calculating 1950+70=2020. Some sources I have found, though none that seem reliable, give a birth date of 1 January 1950, in which case he will need to have retired by 31 December 2019. No doubt the media will pick this up. Either way, from a start in February 2015 his term will be only 5-6 years. Wikiain (talk) 05:00, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Shadow007 for finding a ref for the birth date. I've fixed your url and added that the article is subscriber-only (and I'm not a subscriber to the Oz). I don't suppose that being subscriber-only has to disqualify the article as a source, but no doubt a free-access source will become available for substitution. So we've got him until maybe December 2020, still a short term though not so remarkably. And the "sting" 'jokes' have begun ... the "grasp" ones to follow ...
