I found this page because I was curious whether "GIS&T" was used as a term outside this document (turns out it isn't, which is interesting). I would question whether this document deserves a page here - the page has no sources, and appears to have been largely written by one of the authors (User:Bplewe is presumably Brandon Plewe). Additional citations and improving this page.[edit]

The GIS&T body of knowledge is a significant work within Geographic information science, geography, and Geographic information systems as a whole. It has 120 citations on ResearchGate, 49 (including 5 "highly influential") on Semantic Scholar, and 327 citations on Google Scholar.

That said, this article needs some TLC. It needs citations and background information. By looking at the numerous documents citing this document, a section on "impacts" might be meaningful.

I will do some work on this, and invite others to do the same. GeogSage (⚔Chat?⚔) 01:24, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
