Categories[edit]

I have added this article to category:Geography of England as most similar articles are listed there. It is also in its eponymous category which is a subcat of :category:Geography of England, but that is allowed, see points #3 and #5. Please don't remove without discussion. Actually, it is the improved navigation that clinches it for me. Without the GoE cat, 4 further clicks would be required to find similar articles for elsewhere in England. GoGM goes to Category:Geography of England by county, which has nothing but subcats, which takes you through to Category:Geography of England by locality (again only subcats), which is contained in GoE. From a geography point of view it needs GoE. It certainly helps me, and, I would suggest, other users, as a non-Mancunian. Crispness (talk) 15:52, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm. I'm not convinced. But I won't lose any sleep over it. As there is a distinct lack of comparable "Geography of County" articles about, I guess we'll have to wait for expansion elsewhere before codification is complete.
