Environment - current issues[edit]

This reads: "Environment - current issues: air pollution and resulting acid rain in the mineral extraction and refining region". However the problem is more potential than actual according to this reference: American University Trade & Environment Database website: Zambia Copper Case which says "Environmentally, the most vulnerable to the pollution caused by the copper mining industry are the people located in the immediate vicinity of the mines, i.e. the miners and their families. However, if ever acid rain were to be produced by the gases from the copper smeltering process, land, vegetation, water sources and people hundreds of miles away could be affected."

The comment in the Wikipedia article seems to be taken from the CIA World Factbook site which of course doesn't list any sources, nor give any data on the size of the problem. Neither does this source:National Overview – Zambia (source seems to be countrywatch.com I haven't seen any report which quotes evidence that atmospheric pollution and acid rain is much of a problem compared to the far more serious problems of contamination of soil and water in the Copperbelt, and contaminated wind-blown dust which is a local problem in the vicinity of open pits and spoil tips. "Zambia has a total of 5 664 km of land boundaries, and it borders: ... and Botswana for 0 km." this needs elaborating on, looking at maps the border seems to be about 150 metres but the current wording suggests there is no border! if anyone has the exact border length it would be helpful also just noticed the page Geography of Botswana does not mention the border with Zambia, this seems inconsistent

Ive now removed the botswana border, according to Kazungula Its uncertain whether there is one. so Ive removed it for consistency
