This line in the strat section is inconsistent: "Near Kabul, potassium-argon dating indicates that the rocks formed between 938 and 44 million years ago in the Paleozoic eon. In general, the Precambrian rocks in the Hindu Kush and Safed Koh Range are poorly studied." Either the year values are wrong as one greatly predates the Palaeozoic and the other considerably postdates it, or else we need to remove the reference to Paleozoic eon (era in fact). Anybody have access to the one given reference to check and make amendments accordingly? Geopersona (talk) 09:14, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reporting this. I have the cited source reference book and I have corrected some errors in this Wikipedia article's text to more closely reflect the source. GeoWriter (talk) 15:32, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
