I was looking at this page a little more closely recently. Is there a "Wikipedia is not a genealogy project" lecture handy anywhere? Based upon the page links that existed (and perhaps more importantly, what should have been linked and wasn't), I got the impression that someone discovered a long-lost relative who was semi-famous and decided to create a page on him.

I'm not doubting the notability of the subject. I am bringing up two big red flags, though. One, this article appears to have been a lazy rewrite of the article found at http://www.alaska.edu/bor/history/george-lingo-1934-1943/. I wonder what the University of Alaska thinks about the plagiarism therein. Two, a fact contained in both pages is definitely in dispute, that being that George Lingo was the youngest person elected to the House in Alaska at the time. Without even putting much thought or effort into it, I discovered a James J. Bogan, who was born in 1893 and elected to the House in 1918. The only reason I would have for giving benefit of the doubt is that Bogan left Alaska shortly after his House term, so sources to corroborate this are probably somewhat lacking.
