Should we have a separate page for Omaha?[edit]

@Another Believer, Bartholomite, Jno.skinner, Love of Corey, and RopeTricks: The section for the protests in Omaha has become unusually lengthy as has recently been broken up into three subsections. I would support branching off the protests in that city into their own page. Any supporters or opposers? Songwaters (talk) 17:06, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Songwaters, I don't think this article is particularly long, and I've seen some forked George Floyd pages re-merged, so I don't suggest creating a standalone page until there's really enough content to justify the separation. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:21, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Songwaters, I oppose. The subsection really is not that long and does not warrant creating a whole new article just for those few paragraphs. Unless the section becomes overly long and gets daily or weekly updates, it is better here. RopeTricks (talk) 19:08, 27 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Friday protest in Omaha[edit]

The section of the article about the initial protests in Omaha insinuate that the police started the violence at around 8:00 pm, however looking at some KMTV footage of it, it appears that the protests started to become violent at least a little bit before 8:00. I'm not sure the exact time frame however i'm sure it would suffice to say that the protests devolved into clashes between demonstrators and police. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D09:F80:1A00:E1F1:E407:8679:94B3 (talk) 23:51, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
