Kill Switch Section[edit]

This is the name of the legislation. Of course it will be biased, as all names of legislation are. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lunastarfish87 (talkcontribs) 19:35, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't this page Need to be Updated?[edit]

because this is a volunteer project. no ones in charge. also, it seems like a minor incident. it didnt keep him becoming the top prosecutor, or lose his job as police chief. Mercurywoodrose (talk) 19:08, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This article includes overly promotional language that will boost his campaign for LA DA[edit]

This article was edited 1 month ago to include overly promotional and biased language. Some of it has been removed, but most of it is up there still. The language feels like it was taken from campaign literature, and since Gascon is currently running for DA of LA, I believe that the edits were made by his campaign. You could ask the user about their possible connection to Gascon, or raise issue at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard. These are generally the only acceptable ways to deal with possible undisclosed COI. Suggesting that another editor is editing for pay or with a financial COI without evidence can get you in to trouble, possibly even blocked if the behavior is repeated. Rather than discuss the user, it is usually best to focus on the content. Yes, some of the added wording is promotional. Feel free to reword, or remove if the source is low quality or doesn't support the content. Also, there is plenty of criticism of Gascon in the press. Adding referenced criticism could bring more balance to this article.Dialectric (talk) 18:58, 27 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
