Birth[edit]

Sidney Webb and Beatrice Webb (page 220 f.) and Odger, George (DNB00)have 1820. If you have look at familysearch you find at census 1871 "Age 51" and Census 1851 "Age 29". Therefore I think it is 1820.--Whoiswohme (talk) 07:54, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The ODNB has 1813 and, while not free of inaccuracies, I would always favour it over the Webb's work. His ages in the census are clearly inconsistent - maybe it would be best to mention the differing dates, in the article. Warofdreams talk 14:27, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've changed it to 1820, which is the most common date in the literature — including the date used by Soviet scholars in the multivolume set of Minutes of the General Council. Carrite (talk) 00:23, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
