Spelling of surname[edit]

Resolved
 – Ginky's own preference was for SanSouci, not San Souci or Sansouci.

Please Explain your reason(s) Below thank you,Arnon Chaffin Got a message? 19:28, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had always thought Ginky's last name was "San Souci," with a space between "San" and "Souci." It is listed as "SanSouci." This needs to be clarified. Thanks in advance. RailbirdJAM 16:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

thanx
Athena San Souci
Well, that settles it. Hi, Athena. This is "JAM." I knew it was spelled wrong, but wanted to make sure. I will try to get it fixed, and if I cannot do it, I hope somebody else will. My best to you and Ginky.

Except, of course, that didn't settle it... — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 21:40, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I fixed it. I wasn't sure how to do it, but I read and read and read and figured it out. RailbirdJAM 11:56, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please help[edit]

Ginky's wife, Athena, stated when this article was created that there should be a space between "San" and "Souci" in the name, so it was changed from "SanSouci" to "San Souci." After reading an article written by George SanSouci, he states that he does not like it when people insert a space between "San" and Souci" and that it should definitely be "SanSouci."

I cannot change it back, since it was already "SanSouci" previously. Can anybody with more experience help in this regard? RailbirdJAM (talk) 10:40, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I still can't believe he died. Knew him for well a very long time. Met him first in Chelsea. Great guy. What a player.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 12:58, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Photos[edit]

BTW, Athena, do you have a BETTER photo of Ginky, one where he is playing pool? The only one I had was this one and a couple others when his hair was BLOND. (LOL). However, an action shot of Ginky playing pool would be cool! RailbirdJAM 11:20, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey JAM its Athena again i have many many photos but, i dont know how to add them. send me a PM on Azbilliards and i'll send you a good photo. - Athena

Unutilized sources[edit]

There are three good sources mentioned at the end of the references section which have not actually been used to properly cite anything in the article. That's kind of pointless. They all contain good information that can improve the article, and they can also be cited as sources for a number of things already in the article. — SMcCandlish Talk⇒ ʕ(Õلō Contribs. 21:32, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
