Some items cause concern in this article:

1) The name of his wife is first listed as Charlotte. Then when he remarries her in 1851 her name is shown as Caroline Knight, with no explanation given for the change of first name. I edited the sentence to include only Charlotte as his wife's name.

2) Before I changed the word "elegant" to "important," the last sentence of the first paragraph read:

"In his early years in Argentina, Temperley had been the owner of a blacksmithing, considered one of the most elegant establishments of Buenos Aires. [3]"

Why would a blacksmithing business be described as "elegant"? Perhaps the original author is a non-native speaker of English and was thinking of a different word? I changed the word to "important." I don't have other information about Temperley to verify his business. The citation given is not available online.

3) Although Temperley converted to Catholicism in 1851, the article mentions without explanation that "he helped build the Anglican Church (Holy Trinity)" in 1872. Why would he do this?

Below is the article as I found it, before making the edits:

George Temperley was born in Newcastle, England, had arrived in Buenos Aires in 1838. He was married Charlotte Knight, marriage, made in February 17, 1846 in the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.[2] In 1851 Temperley converted to Catholicism, was remarried to Caroline Knight in Parish of San Pedro Telmo. The priest of the ceremony was Anthony Dominic Fahy. In his early years in Argentina, Temperley had been the owner of a blacksmithing, considered one of the most elegant establishments of Buenos Aires.[3] In 1866 George Temperley, together with his compatriot Richard Black Newton were two of the founding members of The Argentine Rural Society.[4] In 1872 George Temperley helped build the Anglican Church (Holy Trinity).[5] In January 1, 1893 George Temperley founded Temperley, one of the most important cities in the southern part of Greater Buenos Aires.
