Someone should really amalgamate the two entries on the same person, George Townshend, 1st Marquess Townshend and Marquess Townshend or decide which information goes on which page. Eltharian 15 April 2007

Cape Townsend[edit]

I'm not sure if the naming of Cape Townsend in Wisconsin had anything to do with George Townshend. There is no h in Townsend, so maybe the similarity is just a coincidence?--Epiphyllumlover (talk) 16:06, 10 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
