Awry?[edit]

Hm, this article is slightly awry, in the sense that it mainly deals with the National Geographic view on the topic. Whereas NG only sees it as a way of "sustaining or enhancing the geographical character of a place", some parties see it as a way through which lokal tourism is helped by geology. UNESCO refers to a geopark as "unified area with geological heritage of international significance". So, there are many aspects of this topic. Riggwelter (talk) 14:27, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

request edit[edit]

I have a number of questions about this article. I tried to change it to reflect new initiatives and take out the negative aspects, but it has been changed back. The article reflects bias towards geological geotourism, when I was trying to remove any bias. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AequitasV (talkcontribs) 17:58, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
