Support merge Thank you. Ultimately, that is the plan. I wanted to check on the content to ensure that it is suitable for use on Wikipedia, as I am not overly familiar with some of the rules, style guides, etc., especially as they relate to biographies of living individuals, and I need a second opinion (or more). Due to the nature of the political structures of Métis Nation governments, especially during the early years of governance building, the elected provincial leadership, especially the executive, of each of the provincial nations and the national president have a lot of direct influence on political decision making, administration and management, and ensuring the decisions of the respective assemblies are carried out. For example, at the Métis National Council, the General Assembly is supposed to meet every 12–18 months (though As of 8 May 2021[update] it has not met since November 2018), and the Board of Governors meets about as often, maybe a bit more (As of 8 May 2021[update] it has also not met since Nov 2018). In Métis Nation—Saskatchewan, the Métis Nation Legislative Assembly is the governing authority of MN-S and is supposed to meet twice each year (though often it is only once per year, and has met only once since November 2019 due to the pandemic), the Provincial Métis Council forms the cabinet and ensures operations are running smoothly and they meet approximately every two months, which leaves the Executive responsible for ensuring the decision of the Assemblies and Councils are carried out along with support from administrative staff, in addition to ensuring the mandate that they were elected on is carried out. The president of MN-S is the chief political spokesperson of MN-S, and the president of MNC is the Chief Spokesperson of MNC.
