Wozzeck[edit]

The article states that he sang the title role in WOZZECK, which is a baritone. Can anyone find a source for this? It seems unlikely as he was a high tenor and recorded the role of Hauptmann in that work. Thanks! 207.237.243.185 (talk) 22:14, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On further investigation, I see that the article acknowledges that he sings the Captain. However, unless a source is identified, I can't believe that he sang Wozzeck. I think somewhere along the line, someone must have misinterpreted an appearance in the opera as meaning that he sang the role.
