Narration[edit]

Umm... is it in fact Mike Rowe who's narrating these eps? I didn't think it sounded like him, it sounds more like the guy who currently's doing the beginning voiceovers on Ghost Hunters... --Umrguy42 (talk) 23:47, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it's him. He is the one who narrates Ghost Hunters as well. Pilgrim Films & Television also produces Dirty Jobs. Cyberia23 (talk) 05:44, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Donna[edit]

Should we really say that Donna is a "former" member. I mean, she left for medical problems, and I think that she's gonna come back when everything is better. --BrianGriffin-FG (talk) 17:03, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • This season has one episode left I believe. Doubtful she will return, at least as far as this season is concerned. Cyberia23 (talk) 22:35, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious description[edit]

The article describes the show as a team of paranormal investigators as they apply "principles of scientific analysis" to "debunk" haunted locations around the world. I hate to be a drag, but there is nothing "scientific" about what GHI does. What's more, the GHI investigators are so eager to find ghosts, and so willing to believe that every strange sound is a spirit, that I would have a hard time calling anything they do "debunking." The opening paragraph needs some serious work. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brash (talkcontribs) 15:43, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The opening description appears to have been taken directly from a news story about the show which wasn't a neutral point of view. I changed it. Cyberia23 (talk) 16:05, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Science? If there was a scientific method to prove the presence of ghosts, you would automatically admit that ghosts exist. But that's not the case. We don't even know what ghosts are made of, the closest thing is to see if there are energy shifts, which is what GHI did. --2.245.110.199 (talk) 02:12, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ep list issues[edit]

The hyphens should be replaced with spaced endashes per WP:DASH, the dates with {{start date}}, the flags with {{flag icon}}. serioushat 03:42, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

 Done Never mind the struck-through text. serioushat 04:43, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Robb Out?[edit]

So, as far as I can tell, the listings for changes in investigators, and specifically, Robb quiting, all are based on a single blog post. That post itself lists no sources and links to nothing else. I've done some searches and find no references to Robb quitting except from the blogger referenced in this story.

How good is this information? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.12.209.108 (talk) 17:09, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I haven't done the searches, but I think you raise a very good question - someone just added a link, but I'd say it's the original blog post, which doesn't help. At this time, I'm moving Robb back (I would leave Ashley and Brandy as "former" for now, based on the evidence of the episodes, I couldn't glean anything for sure from the links provided, though.) umrguy42 16:44, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I added the ref after some anon said Robb, Ashley and Brandy were out, and Britt is coming in. All the article said was Robb was leaving and Britt "might" be coming aboard, but was uncertain. There was nothing about Ashley or Brandy. In their case, I think a lot of people assume someone is leaving if they are absent from one or two episodes, which isn't necessarily the case. However, it looks like Susan is now the case manager which might mean Brandy is really gone. Anyway, it's a sure bet Karl won't be back – he seems to have been a waste of GHA time I guess. So, unless a rock-solid source is provided the best bet is to just wait and see whose left when the show starts back up again next season. Of course we'll have to deal with impatient editors who'll try and and change the list until then. Rumors abound that the producers like to screw their cast members over, so maybe were seeing another round on the chopping block. Cyberia23 (talk) 17:35, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
On a related note, I know Karl is definitely out - I tweeted him about if he'd only done the one investigation, and he said that the producers hadn't invited him back. [1] - I'm pretty sure we can't use that as an RS, but possibly another one might be found somewhere (at least that he won't be back). umrguy42 15:25, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
He's not in the new episodes this season... 67.181.241.118 (talk) 00:54, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cancelled?[edit]

If the series has been cancelled, this should be mentioned in the article. Williams' web site currently (June 2013) describes her as a former member of the Ghost Hunters team. 70.72.211.35 (talk) 20:58, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Only because one investigator left the show, doesn't mean it's cancelled. People in GHI always get replaced, it's not a big deal and often not even mentioned in the episodes. However, it's confirmed that the show is cancelled. --2.245.110.199 (talk) 02:22, 25 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 104[edit]

The description gives the impression that there were three cases in this episode, which is false. --77.1.152.115 (talk) 03:47, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If I recall, they investigated two rather small buildings in one location and the surrounding woods at one time, splitting off into 3 groups of 2 so it's one investigation. Cyberia23 (talk) 15:37, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
