Not notable - "Gil Robbins" inclusion in a separate article appears to be pure vanity from the hour I just wasted looking over his life.

From what I can see he is the father of someone else = not notable.
- further, from what I can see his band was slightly notable with the 1961 "Michael (row your boat ashore)" but they did not write it and worse yet for the notability of "Gil Robbins" ... he was not yet with the band at that time

scanlan has again made an attempt to say something that makes this article notable (an endless series of irrelevant facts like for example he had a cafe = irrelevant)- and yet, there may now be "one" thing - that being, that the article denotes that "... founded the Occassional Singers, a choral group which performed "avant garde" music, according to the New York Times." my question is this - does this organization still exist or was it a fly-by-nite item - gone just a few years later as was his performances with the highwaymen?--70.162.171.210 (talk) 12:36, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

to think there people who do their life's work humbly trying to help mankind and someone as useless as this guy gets a 1000 word writeup on wiki - as an example look at this guy who is 10,000 x the person of "Gil Robbins" ...
