Late Rev. Bishop Gilbert Rego (diocese of Shimla-Chandigarh) article[edit]

Hello wiki-editors and readers,

I would like to write and expand on the stub of Rev. Gilbert B. Rego, who was the archbishop of the Shimla-Chandigarh diocese, India. My family was a parishioner and we got to know the Rev. Rego, personally.

There would be a conflict of interest in my expanding on this article, but I will keep COI and NPOV in mind, to be concise, relevant and write meaningful content on the life, works as lived by archbishop Rego.

Your input throughout as I am about to embark and when I am done with the writing, any improvement needed and your editorial expertise are welcome!

Hello Wiki Editors/helpers,

First of all a big Thank you to User:Tommieboi for starting this, and the many contributors too over the years.

The privilege is mine when I came across Rego's stub and wanted to expand this article. My family had been blessed in abundance by him during our time while in India. I tried to keep NPOV while writing, but some of the expressions are simply the person he truly was. If any of you put a tag for edits etc, it is fine with me but my only request is that even though we all write and contribute as volunteers on our own accord, that you would follow-up with your tag in updating it accordingly or removing it etc. I say this because another article I wrote, someone put a tag after a reputable editor copy-edited the article, tag saying "need to correct grammatical errors, need improvements etc"! My article had become worst off after an editor's input just baffle me!

Then another someone put another tag in another article to which I had edited tons, provided tons of citations etc, others had contributed to improve it too, and then the reply to me was "the tag is fine, mine too has a tag for the last 4-5 years, so your tag is fine"!

I have completed my research and in writing it. I may upload a few more photographs but until then, I would appreciate your editorial input and suggestions for improvement.
