Gillig Transit Coach School Bus talk page[edit]

Let's all put together a to-do list for this article, what we need to include, etc to it. Srosenow 98 (talk) 08:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As it stands right now, the article reads like a list; it probably will need more prose added to it. As such, there isn't much here that covers the design history of the Transit Coach (adding that would be a starting point).--SteveCof00 (talk) 09:57, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion: can someone crop the photo labeled "Mid-1950s rear-engine school bus"? It's a photo of someone taking a photo of the bus. That seems unnecessary and not quite the right tone for a Wikipedia article. But the photo could be easily cropped to be just of the bus, while still keeping it at a normal aspect ratio. Thanks. 149.101.1.114 (talk) 17:33, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Article expansion[edit]

So far, this is more of a starting point than anything else, but I've always felt that the article needed a section detailing the design history. Although the introduction started with that, this lets it go into a little more detail and may allow for easier editing in the future.

As far as a to-do list for the article, here's what I have in mind:

  • Double-checking the facts for accuracy
  • Finding additional sources for information (to keep the article from getting tagged)
  • I'm thinking of replacing the table with a timeline...it would save a LOT of space, and as is, the table is starting to be duplicated by the rest of the "production" sub-section. It would also allow for the images to be used elsewhere in the article.
  • An answer to this: What is the name of Gillig's Conventional? Is it a Transit Coach too?

Any other suggestions/feedback is welcome.--SteveCof00 (talk) 23:23, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
