WikiLeaks[edit]

I believe a section should be added regarding the revelation that he forwarded one of his articles to the campaign of Hillary Clinton for pre-publication approval. Given that Donald Trump did not enjoy such a luxury, it may qualify as a scandal. Thoughts?Hidden Tempo (talk) 05:04, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

He forwarded sections of the article in question for fact-checking, which to my understanding is common journalistic practice. There's currently a section about it at Podesta emails#Glenn Thrush, though I think it might do better here because it seems rather unremarkable there. I'm moving that section over here because it is rather unremarkable compared to other stuff reported in the Podesta emails article. FallingGravity 06:24, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Should the original email get linked? https://wikileaks.org/podesta-emails/emailid/36329 The statement in the email that "Because I have become a hack I will send u the whole section that pertains to u" seems incongruous given his later explanation. 2600:8800:1000:8870:B8C9:BCF4:713C:9477 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 15:44, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
