"spelling of brand names"[edit]

In this set of edits, 72.35.9.27 put a number of tradenames into FULL CAPITALS. This was rightly reverted.

User:Glentelcommunications (contributions) describes his or her subsequent reintroduction of FULL CAPITALS in the following way:

corrected spelling of brand names, added new company information

No, "Glentel" and "GLENTEL" have the same spelling; this was merely a change to capitalization. Which I have reverted.

Numerous companies like to put their names in FULL CAPITALS THROUGHOUT; they are of course free to do so and even to ask that others capitalize; meanwhile, Wikipedia rightly ignores this (see Manual of Style/Trademarks). Please do not readd this capitalization. -- Hoary (talk) 06:54, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
