This article was previously listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion and deleted - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Global Energy Network Institute for the discussion. However, since both delete votes were based on a lack of notability being demonstrated, I am satisfied that this recreated article should be kept, since the "Selected Media References" section clearly shows that GENI has been "the subject of multiple, non-trivial, reliable published works, whose sources are independent of the subject itself", as per Wikipedia:Notability. --Stormie 03:40, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Except that they do no such thing. GENI claims it has references, but there's not a single link or specific enough reference except to their own website. Not even close to being appropriate and/or reliable references. --Calton | Talk 00:27, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well [1] has links to reproductions of the various references they claim. Could have a poke through there to see whether they are actual coverage of GENI, or just passing mentions. --Stormie 01:56, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The current endorsements section[edit]

is totally non encyclopedic and will be removed; it may be replaced by references to such statements, formatted according to WP:NOTE. Otherwise it looks like a prospectus, not an encyclopedia article. As for the references section, it too must be reformatted properly as references, not a paragraph.DGG (talk) 03:51, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
