Restored[edit]

Restored at request, please ensure steps are taken to denote the show's notability in the article, or it is likely to be deleted again. Any press previews? Kbthompson (talk) 22:53, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for restoring the article. I've tried to rearrange the article to show clearly that it will open on Broadway on April 22, 2008 (in previews) towards an official May 6, 2008 opening. I don't believe there are any press previews for the Broadway production as yet, will need to wait until official opening on May 6.
I had previously included 2 reviews of the regional production at the Signature Theatre from earlier in 2008. There are a few sources referenced that confirm that it is opening on Broadway (NY Times, playbill.com).
I can't think of anything else to denote notability for a stage production, it's opening on Broadway, pretty much verifed by reliable sources, too early for New York press previews, anyone have any ideas? JeanColumbia (talk) 23:40, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Kb. There is no doubt that a show scheduled to open on Broadway (with the theatre reserved, cast in rehearsals tickets on sale, etc.), and which has already enjoyed a production at a well-known professional regional theatre, is notable. I feel certain that the article now established notability - This isn't even a close one. BTW, Jean, can you find the Washington Post review of the Signature production? Playbill says that reviews were generally favorable. -- Ssilvers (talk) 05:25, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article looks great, thanks. I added part of the Peter Marks review from the Washington Post. I can't find a direct link to the review. (It may require either a log-in or subscriber.) JeanColumbia (talk) 10:48, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I also added some language from another review. If you think any of the others should be quoted to add balance or give more of a representative feel for the reviews, feel free. Obviously, once the B'way reviews come out, they should be added. Best regards, -- Ssilvers (talk) 23:06, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ironically upgrading to "Start". It would still be appropriate to put in a scathing review or two to explain the hasty retreat. -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:32, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
