Birth date[edit]

The age (23) mentioned in more reliable sources such as Vogue [1] and Billboard [2] would contradict the date of birth stated in the article. As such, I removed the DOB altogether until there is a more reliable source. The current references being used, including Twitter, are unreliable. EM[edit]

@Ss112: Electronic music is not just a genre, it's also about music created using electronic devices. According to the categories listed, Gnash is also a DJ and producer and some of his songs like the EDEN collaboration are pure EDM. He certainly uses electronic devices in his productions. Maybe someone should add electronic to the infobox? Just because it's not listed, doesn't mean he's not part of electronic music. — Zawl 07:45, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Zawl: If the only criteria were that a musician uses electronic devices in their work, that would make every popular musician out today electronic or part of the scope of the electronic music WikiProject. DJs don't have to produce electronic music. Typically, yes, but not necessarily. I would think if he were truly part of some electronic movement, it would be noted on the article somewhere. It isn't. If you can find a reliable source saying that he also produces electronic music and work it into the article, I won't have a problem. Ss112 07:48, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
