Notability and merge[edit]

To not merge, given the uncontested objection and no support. Klbrain (talk) 09:49, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ultimately I do not believe this page is notable enough to warrant a page separate from Cottagecore. They are clearly loosely-defined memes rather than significant cultural movements. Of course, memes warrant a place on Wikipedia, but multiple short pages I find dubious.

Mychemicalromanceisrealemo, please follow the steps at WP:MERGEPROP (particularly step 2) so interested editors are made aware of the merge proposal. Thanks. Schazjmd (talk) 21:04, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Apologies. --Mychemicalromanceisrealemo (talk) 08:32, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Mychemicalromanceisrealemo, sorry, you still don't have it right. There should be a template on Goblincore saying that it's been proposed to merge it to Cottagecore, and a template on Cottagecore saying there's a proposal to merge Goblincore into it. The discussion should be started at Talk:Cottagecore. Please read WP:MERGE and follow steps 1 and 2 carefully. Schazjmd (talk) 14:35, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Having the discussion here seems okay under "If a discussion exists already, do not move it"? I've fixed the article template and added one to Cottagecore. --Lord Belbury (talk) 14:42, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Lord Belbury. I thought it would be a good learning experience for Mychemicalromanceisrealemo to fix their attempt themselves, but hopefully they can look at what you did and see the steps they missed. Schazjmd (talk) 14:54, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Goblincore and cottagecore[edit]

Ive found after a little research that goblincore is quite different in the way that cottage core is more of a farming, flower aesthetic and gremlincore is a second hand, more dark and less favored things like dirt, bones etc. there only common is plants, and if people think of them is different we should respect that since its there aesthetic. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.36.158.0 (talk) 17:18, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

This article seems pretty notable to me with 3 significant sources: Fox news, Vice, and Mashables. I would suggest the tag to be removed. Roostery123 (talk) 17:43, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
