where is godstone —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.13.187.165 (talkcontribs)

As the article says... Godstone is a village in the county of Surrey, England. It is located approximately six miles east of Reigate at the junction of the A22 and A25 major roads, and near the M25 motorway. Pontificake 20:55, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article is regarding the village of Godstone, however the quoted population is of the parish of Godstone which includes numerous other villages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.189.207 (talk) 16:31, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This article should be about the civil parish as that is normal practice.--Charles (talk) 16:47, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Charles. I have added the relevant sections.
There is not quite as much to say about the other parts of the parish therefore this should not become one of only a few largely/semi-rural rarities where it is necessary to split the civil parish.Adam37 (talk) 17:56, 28 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Town or Village?[edit]

The Article about the district of Tandrige mentions Godstone (and Lingfield) as towns, yet this article just talks of the village of Godstone... One of the Articles must be wrong, but which one? --109.91.42.96 (talk) 03:14, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
