I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Translated title[edit]

There is no literal translation of the Japanese kanji in the film's title, but the way it was until I changed it (as shown here). Obviously, "G" is used as an abbreviation for "Godzilla" in the title, much like it is in various other films, most notably Godzilla Vs. Biollante Together, the characters 消 and 滅 loosely mean "destruction by way of disappearance", and 作 in this context would make the most sense as "project", though it could translate to "job", "construction", or even "work site". However, it was previously translated as "strategy", which is incorrect. The final character, 戦, meaning "battle," (as in "battle of the...") had been completely ignored prior to my edit. It could also say "war" or "struggle." I get the feeling that Google Translate was used at some point on this article. However, if I'm mistaken feel free to correct me. Theatrical release poster[edit]

Hello all,

This article currently includes https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Godzilla_vs._Megaguirus_(2000)_Japanese_theatrical_poster.jpg and says that it is a theatrical release poster made by Noriyoshi Ohrai. Are we sure that this poster was made by him? To my knowledge, Ohrai was an illustrator, and this poster appears to be made up of photographs; it does not look like it is a painting.

I have seen a different poster for this movie that does, in my eyes, look like a painting that matches Ohrai's artsyle. That poster can be viewed here: https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0255198/mediaviewer/rm1311034881/
