Removed redirect[edit]

I removed a redirect to Talk:Metal leaf, which I found confusing. Previous discussions about gold leaf are there. /Pieter Kuiper 21:13, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

The only reference is a JPEG file. Is that even passable? Attys (talk) 23:33, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it. -- 83.228.131.86 (talk) 21:11, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Apparently gallery is needed[edit]

I tried to put the pictures of the gold nugget and the bottle in a gallery like in the Hebrew article, but it didn't work. Shoshie8 (talk) 14:08, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

The language and writing style of this article do not seem to adhere to Wikipedia's nuetral point of view standards, especially the Culinary Uses section. I added the POV-check template to flag it. Jean15paul (talk) 18:22, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed - removed stuff and tag. Johnbod (talk) 19:18, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Culinary Uses Section[edit]

The first paragraph of the culinary uses text is far too florid for an encyclopaedia article, and consists mostly of unrelated trivia about gold in general. I have removed it as it clearly has no place in a wikipedia article, the only piece of relevant information is that gold consumption was believed to be rejuvenative. Also the paragraph regarding a recent, rather limited fad of using gold leaf rolling papers is very much stretching the definition of 'culinary' use. The entire section needs work. 176.25.36.221 (talk) 04:03, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
