Comments[edit]

Does it notify of enemies? I would find this important. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 166.44.39.52 (talkcontribs) 00:00, 10 October 2006

Merge with Google?[edit]

Shouldn't dodgeball be merged with Google, as other companies, sites, etc. have been with their parent companies?--MonkeyTimeBoy 21:30, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since adsense, etc all have their own pages, I think it should stay how it is. Removing merge notice. Xiong Chiamiov :: contact :: 02:12, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just because WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS doesn't mean this needs its on article. It barely qualifies as a stub, unless this is going to be heavily expanded and some notability of the service shown, it doesn't require its own article.--Crossmr (talk) 20:13, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FWIW, I found the page useful for even the barest history of the service. Would have liked to find more, but this was better than nothing. -- Dave —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.143.66.180 (talk) 22:19, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Part of Google Maps now?[edit]

Is Google Latitude now just a feature of the Google Maps app? (Even if so, in my personal opinion it would be a feature worthy of its own article.) Open4D (talk) 19:26, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Foursquare?[edit]

Should foursquare be listed as a successor, it was created by the same people, and started out as the same sms-based service.22:30, 17 May 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmartin969 (talkcontribs)

"For some reason"[edit]

LOL - not very "encyclopedia" sounding. Probably should remove those words, but leave the rest of the comment in.

No BlackBerry support[edit]

Also, I find I'm unable to use it from PCs recently - any updates? Did Google discontinue the service except for Android phones? I know they made it no longer available for all BlackBerry platforms, when they withdrew Google Maps for BlackBerry 7 and earlier, even though old binaries work fine... Someone unbiased should probably write about that on the article page here too...

Closing down[edit]

It seems Google is axing Latitude? [1] The Seventh Taylor (talk) 11:28, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
