Yadav narratives of claimed history[edit]

Please do not readd content about the mythical claims of origin and mythology of the Gopas. The academic consensus is that such mythology was adopted within the last two centuries as part of the Sanskritisation of various peasant-pastoral castes into a Yadav community whose idenity is based on the claim of descent from Yadu, Krishna, and the ancient Yadavas. The sources for this are presented on the main Yadav page, and readding the content as the factual history of Gopas (one of the castes within the modern Yadav fold) is POV-pushing.
