can some competent editor change the governor

Constitution[edit]

I don't know what the author of this page had in mind, when he said it's modeled on the federal government, with frontier adaptations. Things that spring to mind are the independently-elected Treasurer, Attorney General and Secretary of State, and an elected judiciary. If that's what the author meant, maybe the page should say so. As it stands, the question's sorta left hanging there. Thanks. --User:johndodd 20:26, 6 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Elections[edit]

Reverted back to 1992. In the United States presidential election, 1988 Illinois voted for Republican George H. W. Bush. --Dual Freq 10:58, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV[edit]

Without citations just about everything is suspect. While things I may know to be true in Illinois are included to someone who is unfamiliar with Illinois politics or history this article would scream of POV, please cleanup appropriately citing reliable sources. If I get the time I shall be bold and do it myself.A mcmurray 18:11, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Desperately Needs some Expansion[edit]
