I'll get to this shortly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 14:07, 17 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Sturmvogel 66, looking forward to working with you on this article.  ~ RLO1729💬 00:47, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
PS: No hurry, I've noticed a few copy edits still needed so I'll get onto those first if that's OK with you.  ~ RLO1729💬 01:26, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no rush.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 01:32, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I've given the article another tidy up and I think we're ready to go. :)  ~ RLO1729💬 05:11, 18 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Sturmvogel 66, just checking back to confirm that Dumelow and I have finished our recent tidy-up of the article. Cheers,  ~ RLO1729💬 06:55, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The article is in great shape.

  •  Done Added
  •  Done Added
  •  Done I added a PD Australia tag, does that suffice?
  • No DABs, external links OK
  • late 1800, at no need for a comma
  •  Done Removed
  • Link governor and other ranks
  •  Done All linked at first mention
  • If you delete the litre parameter in the conversion for the imperial gallons, the template will default to outputs in liters and US gallons.
  •  Done Thanks, I forgot there were two types of gallon
  • advanced on the hill and after a short fight defeated the convicts and ended the rebellion awkward
  • King's administration but the majority needs a comma
  • remained at eight-men strong bad grammar
  • Bodyguard is spelled two different ways
  •  Done Now "bodyguard" when meant generally and "Body Guard" when used as name of the unit.  ~ RLO1729💬 02:36, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • The uniform section is entirely inappropriate for an encyclopedia, especially in such detail.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 15:03, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, we will revise. @Dumelow: I suggest deleting the section and just mentioning briefly where appropriate in the body text that the uniform was the same as "... Regiment".  ~ RLO1729💬 02:36, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I went ahead and cut the section, added a sentence to the Formation section, and included uniform in the infobox. Let me know if there is anything else from the old Uniform section that needs to be retained.  ~ RLO1729💬 03:08, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your edits RLO1729, I quite like uniform details but that's just personal preference. No objection to their removal, I've copied the info to the talk page, mainly for my reference. I've removed Sumner and the Wiltshire Archaeological Society from the bibliography as they are now unused - Dumelow (talk) 03:38, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks!  ~ RLO1729💬 03:47, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Done Section removed, Formation section and infobox revised accordingly.  ~ RLO1729💬 03:47, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Sturmvogel 66, I've made a start on your points. Let me know if any issues - Dumelow (talk) 15:28, 26 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your very helpful suggestions Sturmvogel 66. Please let us know if anything still requires attention.  ~ RLO1729💬 03:47, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
