Corrected some of the information on the archaeology, which was incorrect.

Focus of Article[edit]

Shouldn't the community history details such as all the wars and battles be summarized briefly and the details moved to the Grand Pre article, leaving this one to focus on the site itself? Letterofmarque (talk) 18:25, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think that makes sense. --Hantsheroes (talk) 23:09, 29 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Change Title of Section[edit]

Shouldn't the "French and Indian War" section be renamed to "Seven Years War"? French and Indian War is a term only used in the U.S. This is a Canadian History article so we should use the name for the war that's most widely used in Canada, no? I'll change it if I don't hear any opposition within a week from now.RXcanadensis (talk) 14:51, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The benefit of the title French and Indian War is it names specifically the North American Theatre of warfare within the larger conflict of the Seven Years War. Further, often people are confused when the Seven Years War started since it wasn't officially declared until 1756. Most people are clear that the French and Indian War began in 1754.--Hantsheroes (talk) 20:46, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
