Translating the French[edit]

My schooldays French gets me the gist of the various French phrases, but are any translations needed? GraemeLeggett (talk) 20:17, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Apart fom the title, the French is limited to the titles of the various events. I didn't provide translations because thy are mostly intelligible if you have rudimentary French & I though translations would clutter the article up. Probably the most difficult is Prix du Tour de Piste: maybe the solution is to expand the section giving more detail aof what each competition entailed.TheLongTone (talk) 20:38, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
