March 2007[edit]

Are the passwords actually suitable content for Wikipedia? I mean, we don't have cheat codes in the entry for video games. It's not quite the same thing though.

I do not mind, as back in the old days we used to discuss the secret pages quite often, as only a few people knew what the password was. This is why I tried to obtain passwords using a debugger. If I remember correctly, the password were in plain text format at the start of the program, then encoded (so that they were not readable in memory), then decoded during the password check routine. Should the external link "LSD Docs Disks in Amiga Guide and Html version." be removed? I cannot see any relevance to the Grapevine article (except that they were created by the same group). Also, i thought that the LSD Docs disks were illegal, as they contain copyrighted material? Rombust 09:46, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Grapevine14-1 001.png[edit]

Image:Grapevine14-1 001.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

These financial benefits[edit]

"...these financial benefits..." - these where just 50 floppy disks, hardly "financial benefits", they where used to send files to group members, grapevine was ran at a loss - no benefits. These are malicious claims that may harm a certain persons reputation, please put it right.
