Edible plant[edit]

It seems unwise to tell people that the plant is edible, without more evidence. I'm deleting it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.21.182.21 (talk) 09:25, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Apologies for reverting on that point.Kiranerys-talk 09:40, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Native to Mexico?[edit]

The link says no such thing. I question this because the second part of the name is "paraguayense," which should suggest it's from ... uuhhh ... Paraguay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 8.21.182.21 (talk) 09:29, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've uncovered a few links which suggest otherwise as to the question of its origin. [1], [2], [3]. I will not dispute the removal of the culinary usage, as that link is dead, and I've uncovered sources saying it is poisonous, but I will revert you on the 'Mexico' part, as my links corroborate.Kiranerys-talk 09:38, 14 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
