Notability[edit]

A speedy delete tag was placed on the stub page before the reason for notability was included. The gliding club was a participant in the construction and flight of the UTIAS Snowbird , the first human-powered ornithopter, which set a Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) record, and was included on the Wikipedia home page as as "Did You Know" on Nov 20.
