Something doesn't make sense here[edit]

Quoth the page: So it can be estimated that the population of the urban agglomeration was about 15 million people in 2016, and it is sinking 25 cm per year because of the accelerated influx and the overuse of natural resources.

Population in cm/year? I am pretty sure they are not talking about height of the average citizen. Could someone who is more involved with this article please review and possible correct?

I suspect that something was snipped out or accidentally pasted in the wrong spot. This isn't my usual section/topic (I only ended up because I was reading about Avicenna who lived in Rey) and I don't like editing pages outside my bailiwick.
