Merge[edit]

Do we really need separate pages for Greater Upper Marlboro, Maryland and Upper Marlboro, Maryland? A lot of the stuff in "Greater Upper Marlboro" according to this article is actually in Largo, Maryland Toddstreat1 22:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, This area is a Census-designated place and a separate place delinated by the U.S. Census Bureau. I'll incorporated the "stuff into the Largo, Maryland, but the article should remain separate due to the fact that it is a census-defined place. --Moreau36 00:52, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Post 2010 Census[edit]

Greater Upper Marlboro is no longer a CDP in the 2010 Census figures. Anybody know what happened to it? Did it get merged with something else (certainly not with the village) or merely change name? Thehappysmith (talk) 18:38, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Census Bureau broke it up into several smaller CDPs. I'm working through making the changes to this article and related ones. --Ken Gallager (talk) 16:54, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
