Drama[edit]

I have memories of Piccadilly creating dramas in its early days --- there are three that I can remember: 'The Last Rose of Summer', 'The Hunters Moon' and 'The Babylon Run'... a trilogy in a surprisingly restrained three parts by Steve Gallagher, the first part made it out as a book Gallagher, Steve (1978). The Last Rose of Summer. Corgi. ISBN 055210938X.; as far as I'm aware the other two parts did not, but I'd love to be proved wrong there!

Would it be appropriate to make mention of such a connection to show that local independant radio stations were not set up solely to pump out none stop pop? --Geoff Riley (talk) 15:30, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Tetley[edit]

Sorry to report that the Chris Tetley who presented the rock shows on Piccadilly Radio was not, in fact, a left-handed Worcestershire batsman who bowled leg breaks and to whom the link directs you. He was from Macclesfield, was a monumental piss-artist, stood for the Monster Raving Loony Party, and was an absolutely top bloke. I should also mention that he's been dead for quite some years. I'm afraid this might not be eligible for Wikipedia, since it's primary research - I had the pleasure and privilege of working with him for about eight years IIRC. His death certificate stated that he died of rock'n'roll. Not really, but it might as well have. A good lad. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.70.64.53 (talk) 23:12, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Key 103[edit]

This article is just incorrect. Piccadilly Radio became Key 103 on FM. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.27.68.115 (talk) 18:18, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
