Population?[edit]

There's something essential missing — what's the population of this town? -- 194.100.216.100 (talk) 08:00, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cluebot is clueless[edit]

Or perhaps Cluebot knows who Linda Turvey is. Well, do ya, Cluebot? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.5.40.122 (talk) 05:45, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Common law marriage[edit]

The article on common law marriage says that CL marriages were no longer performed in Scotland after 2006 due to a new law. If this is true, that information should surely be added to this article. Perhaps there is some data on the effect this change had regarding "wedding tourism" to Gretna Green's economy. Perhaps there were relatively few CL marriages being performed there by the time the law was passed and it had little effect on GG, but still would be interesting and pertinent info for the article. Love and Freindship[edit]

The article contains a reference to the early Jane Austen work "Love and Freindship", which several people have changed assuming it is a typo. It isn't. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Especially Lime (talkcontribs) 10:02, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It may not be a typo, but the Jane Austen work is titled "Love and Friendship", sic, while "Love and Freindship" is merely the spelling of the title at the time it was written. It is its spelling no longer.--2001:A61:20CF:E201:AD5C:7A0E:1185:1E26 (talk) 11:23, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
