There is no mention of the original early 80s Gridrunner for VIC-20 et al released by HES which was a very different game, apparently

It's not a mistake that they redirect here. The Gridrunner series are all related and apparently nobody has bothered to expand the info to cover the earlier members of the series. Obviously mention should be made in the article of the history, though. this would be a good source for the original game (It's a 1up blog, but Jess Ragan is a staff member and there are other references to her writings on wikipedia so I think it would be acceptable). -Thibbs (talk) 15:38, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
