Racism against David Blackwell[edit]

The David Blackwell page mentions that Evans rejected Jerzy Neyman's request to hire Blackwell because Blackwell was African-American. It was not until after Evans left the university and Neyman got his own separate department that Berkeley hired Blackwell as its first tenured African-American professor. Does Evans's anti-black racism in this instance deserve mention in this article?
