Is this plant carnivorous?[edit]

This plants buds are sticky. There are lots of insects trapped on them. Perhaps the stickiness is purely a defense. Why waste the insect though? 2604:CA00:11B:4D04:0:0:1260:7C2B (talk) 02:38, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
