Comment[edit]

Hello all, The following section of the text is clearly wrong: "Grog is also a critical ingredient in ceramic rocket motor nozzles and bulkheads as Grog particles have sharp edges and angles which lock the clay structure together and thus prevent the clay layers from being ripped out by the supersonic exhaust jet." As nozzles are ceramic and not clay ... maybe they were formed from clay (although non-clay ceramic materials are much more likely) but after firing the article is no longer clay. I suggest this is re-written or even removed. Any comments?

Regards,

Andy

Grog is also used as a strengthening and temperature control element in the construction of molds for kiln formed glass, and probably used in other high temperature molds too. Anyone willing to add this application to the page?
