That's so true![edit]

I have removed the line "The appeal of the show stems largely from the fact that the indignant rants shown are directed against things that many people neither grumpy nor old find absurd or infuriating themselves." because I hear most people saying "That's so true!" when they watch the programme. I don't think this can be said, therefore. --GoAround 07:10, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Good edit. Driller thriller 14:04, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that I too hear people saying "that's so true"- but they are always, in my experience, grumpy old men!— Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.81.33.111 (talk) 15:52, 18 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uh, wait a minute. The line removed back in 2006 says, when you boil it down: "The show is popular because many people are annoyed by the things the grumpy old men are annoyed by". Did all three of you misunderstand that sentence? I'm sure there is a rant about today's illiteracy in there, somewhere ;-) JöG 18:17, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge[edit]

I would like to suggest to merge both grumpy articles (Grumpy Old Men, Grumpy Old Women) into one article (Grumpy Old...), because they saying the same subjects, plus this new series uses both people and ideas.--159753 13:23, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
